This is splendid. Roman emperor Vasilios II Bulgaroctonus regained and reconquered lost lands. And what's interesting, some people I know who studied this didn't knew that the ERE (Byzantium) is technically considered as a western superpower. Since byzantine Greek is, well...a western language. Until they truly realized that they are. Man! It still fascinates me.
